Spiral Zipper Arm is an innotative arm which is lightweight but strong which is ideal for both industry and home automation. I worked with a subgroup of the GRASP Lab at the University of Pennsylvania under the supervision of Prof. Mark Yim.

My main job was Redesigning 3D models in SolidWorks and tested prototypes of the base and 3D printing. Then I analyzed manufacturing errors and improved adaptability of the base and bands. Click here to see how it worked!
